Welcome to the Campus Planning
and Construction website. I hope you enjoy browsing the

Campus Planning and Construction (CPC) is the
University’s facilities and renovations planning and
construction office. Our responsibilities include the
planning of all capital projects for the University’s
system of campuses, renovations and campus master
planning for the Columbia campus. Once a project is
funded, designed and ready for construction, CP&C
manages the construction process of the project.
Although the CP&C staff includes architect and
engineers, all the University’s capital project design
work is contracted to private architectural/engineering
firms. A/E firms and contractors are procured for
university projects in strict accordance with the South
Carolina Procurement Code for Design and Construction.

In addition to planning and construction services,
Campus Planning and Construction also provides the
university community assistance with
interior and
exterior building signs, interior design services,
space data management
and allocation and leasing of non-campus
